The story
Some mornings start themselves. Most need a small push — the first window opened, the kettle on, the apartment still cool from the night. Daybreak is that push, in scent form.
We chose yuzu over lemon because it is brighter without being sharper; it smells like citrus zest, not citrus cleaner. Neroli gives it a faint white-flower sweetness, and a base of white tea keeps the whole thing light enough to live with all day. It does not demand attention. It just makes the room feel slightly earlier, slightly cleaner, slightly more possible.
How it is made
Citrus oils fade fastest of all fragrance materials, so Daybreak carries a higher proportion of top notes than the rest of our range, refreshed by the slow wicking of the reeds. Flip the reeds in the morning and the first hour is the brightest — which is rather the point.
Where it lives — The kitchen counter, or wherever breakfast happens.
