The story

No one here has a fireplace. The evening warmth we know is smaller: a pot of roasted tea, a kitchen that still remembers dinner, lamplight instead of overheads. Hearth is built around that kind of warmth — the kind that fits in an apartment.

Hōjicha, a Japanese green tea roasted until it turns the colour of toast, opens the scent with something between tea and woodsmoke. Sandalwood deepens it; tonka bean rounds the edges with a sweetness closer to baked grain than dessert. The effect is a room that feels inhabited — as if something good happened here an hour ago, and the scent of it stayed.

How it is made

The roasted note comes from a tea accord rather than a smoke material, so Hearth stays on the right side of cosy — toasted, never burnt. It is the slowest-moving scent in our range, blended heavy on base notes so the warmth holds through a long evening.

Where it lives — The dining table after dinner, or beside the evening lamp.
